This network replaces AU-Play
How to connect to AU-Splash
Step 1: Locate the Wi-Fi settings on your device. This is usually found in the settings menu or on the taskbar.
Step 2: Open the Wi-Fi settings and look for available networks. Find and select the "AU-Splash" network from the list.
Step 3:
Students - Use this link https://arcadia.campuswifi.net/accounts/arcadia/. Mobile devices will need to have their MAC addresses non-privatized to work.
Guest -
Step 4: On the WPA2 management page, you will be prompted to create your WPA2 account credentials (username and password). If this is your first time using AU-Splash, you will have to "Register". After you have registered, enter the correct account credentials and agree to the terms and conditions, and click on the "Continue" button.
Step 5: Once you have created your WPA2 account, you will be directed to a webpage that will have your password you will need to connect to AU-Splash.
Using AU-Splash to Connect Devices to a Private Network:
Step 1: After successfully registering your WPA2 account, disconnect from the AU-Guest network.
Step 2: Return to the Wi-Fi settings on your device and select the "AU-Splash" network from the available networks list.
Step 3: Open a web browser on your device. You may be automatically redirected to the AU-Splash login page or prompted to enter your WPA2 account credentials directly.
Step 4: On the AU-Splash login page or the provided prompt, enter your WPA2 account credentials (username and password) and click "Login" or "Submit".
Note: It's important to ensure that you are connected to AU-Splash each time you want to connect to your private network. AU-Guest is for registration purposes only and does not provide direct access to the internet.
Congratulations! You have successfully connected to the AU-Guest network, registered your WPA2 account, and connected your device to a private network using AU-Splash. Remember to use the provided WPA2 password for all your devices when connecting to the private network. Enjoy your internet access while staying connected on campus!
Possible problems and fixes:
Problem: Accidently clicking the Register button on the WPA2 Registration Portal
Fix: Click the back button at the bottom of the page to take you back to your previous page
Problem: “Please switch off private mac addresses on your device.”
Fix –
Step 1: Go to the bottom right hand corner of your computer, click on the Wi-Fi button.
Step 2: From there click on properties for AU-SplashGuest. Next it will redirect you to the properties page for that Wi-Fi. Once there scroll down till you see the title “Random hardware addresses” make sure that is set to the Off position.
Step 3: Go back to the webpage and refresh.
