The following video will showcase how to utilize the standard configuration of most podium classrooms at Arcadia University.
This video applies to the following classrooms in the following buildings:
Taylor Hall
Boyer Hall
Brubaker Hall
Easton Hall
Landman Library
Dining Complex
Knight Hall
The AV system in the standard Arcadia University classroom is designed to be very easy to use.
The system is controlled by a small touch panel that sits on top of the classroom podium.
The touch panel is referred to as an Extron.
When you first come into a classroom, the Extron screen may be dark. It should wake automatically as you approach, but if it doesn't you can touch the screen once to wake it up.
You'll now want to touch the welcome screen once, and then confirm that you want to boot up the system. The projector and rear TV should automatically wake up, and if there is an electric projection screen in the room it should automatically come down.
The podium's PC will be the default source shown on the screen, but you can select laptop/HDMI from the Extron if you wish to use your own device.
The cable cubby on the podium will have an HDMI cable with a USB C adapter. Plug in your laptop and it should appear on the projection screen.
When done, make sure to click the shut down, or turn off button and confirm that you want to power down the system.
