Before you map to a network drive, it's important to get connected to the right network.
If you are on campus, you must be connected to eduroam wifi.
If you are connecting remotely, you must be connected to the Forticlient VPN. To learn how to connect to the VPN, please follow the steps in this article.
Once you have confirmed your network connection, follow the steps below to map a network drive on your PC:
Click on the File Explorer icon
On the Left-hand sidebar, click on “This PC”
If you are on a Windows 10 device:
From the top right, Click on “Computer”
Click on “Map network drive”
If you are on a Windows 11 device:
Click on the 3 dots next to Sort and View, and click "Map Network Drive":
Click on the Drive drop-down menu and select the appropriate letter for the drive you are mapping. Ex. “M” for your User Folder.
In “Folder:” type the network path of the network folder you want to map to. For example \\arc-gsfile02.arcadia.edu\userfolder\(YOUR USERNAME HERE)
Check the box “Reconnect at sign-in”
Click on “Finish”
