PaperCut & Hold-Release Queues
Arcadia uses a software called PaperCut for printing. PaperCut allows us to use what's called a 'Hold & Release Queue', which lets users send a job to the cloud, then release it at any Sharp printer across campus. The process looks like this:
1. On your device, send your print job to 'Arcadia-Find-Me-Printing'. This printer should be installed on your Arcadia issued machine by default. If you're using a personal device, please see further instructions below to getting that mapped on your device.
2. Once you've sent your job to the 'Arcadia-Find-Me-Printing' queue, your job will be waiting for you in the cloud. Jobs are stored for 24 hours. After this, they are deleted.
3. To release your job from the cloud, find the nearest Sharp MFP with the PaperCut login screen (Pictured below), and sign in using your PortalGuard Credentials.
4. Once you are logged in, touch “Print Release”. On the next screen, check the jobs you want to release and touch “Print” at the bottom right corner

You’ll see Jobs Pending Release at the top of the screen.
Release the print job.
Troubleshooting:
If you are getting a "Hold for Authentication" error in your print queue, click the refresh button to the right of the job. It will bring up a window to "Enter your name and password for the printer 'Arcadia-Find-Me-Printing'". Make sure in the Name field, you are entering your Arcadia username without @arcadia.edu (sometimes, Macs will automatically fill out Name with your computer's name). Then, enter your Portalguard password and click OK. Now the job should be sent to the printer.
