To scan, you’ll need to sign in to the Sharp Device through the PaperCut software. For this, you’ll use your PortalGuard credentials or your Knight Card!
This is the card reader where you can scan your Knight Card!
Once you’re logged in, hit Scan.
In this menu you should see these options:
- Scan to Home Folder
- Scan to Email
- Scan to Google Drive
- Scan to Departmental Drive
If you choose to scan to Departmental Drive, the document will be sent to your ScanShare folder. Navigate to \\arc-gsfile02\ScanShare using the instructions on this page, Mapping A Network Drive, to find your documents.
If you choose to scan to your Google Drive, the document will be sent to your Arcadia Google Drive. Log into Google Drive to find your scanned documents.
If you choose to scan to your Home folder, the documents will be sent to a folder in the root of your M Drive, called Scans.
If you choose to scan to your email, the scan jobs will appear as attachments in an email from scans@arcadia.edu. This will only work for smaller jobs (25MB or less, 3-4 pages).
