Fix Microsoft Office Login and Activation Problems

If you're having trouble with Microsoft Office, try the troubleshooting steps below.

Unable to log into Microsoft Office / don't know password

Log into Microsoft Office with your Arcadia email address and your PortalGuard password. If you don't know your PortalGuard password, follow the steps in Resetting your Password in PortalGuard (Self).

The online apps on Office.com aren't working

Install the Office suite on your device instead of using the online apps:

1. Log into Office.com with your Arcadia email and PortalGuard password.
2. From the M365 Copilot page, find Apps in the left-side menu.
3. In the top right corner, click Install Apps, then Microsoft 365 apps.
4. Click Install Apps under Office apps & devices.
5. Open the installer and follow the steps to install all Office apps.

Microsoft Office isn't working on my Chromebook

Chromebooks don't support Microsoft Office apps.
