This article will explain how to fix the following issues in Self Service:
- The page takes too long to load after hitting the "back" button on the browser.
- There's a spinning red circle.
- It says "There was an error in Powercampus Self Service. Try Again".
When you hit the "back" button on your browser, this may cause the page to hang especially if you are returning to a general search page (e.g. Manage Advisees). Therefore, instead of the "back" button, you will need to go back to the page you were on by clicking the appropriate tab on the top bar.
For example, you are looking for a student in Manage Advisees tab with All Students selected in the first dropdown and you need to now search for a new student. Instead of hitting "back" to go back to the search, click "Manage Advisees" tab at the top bar and search for the next student.
