As part of our continual efforts to modernize campus technology, enhance data security, and improve remote collaboration capabilities, the IT Department will be decommissioning the local network file server (arc-gsfile02 aka L: aka M: drives) at the end of the Spring semester.
Moving forward, Google Drive will be our official storage solution for University Documents.
IT is planning to hold several sessions to provide training and migration support. We will be sending out communication regarding these in the coming weeks. Use this link to schedule time with the ATS team.
Timeline
Now: Please begin auditing, organizing, and migrating your files to Google Drive
End of Spring Semester (May 28th): Network file server transitions to Read-Only access
Summer Post-Semester: Network file server taken offline and data preserved for one year
